New Student Registration for 2012-2013 School Year
New Student Registration: 1st - 5th Grade will start on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012.
Please find the situation that applies to your family and use the the following checklist to make sure you have all correct paperwork in place based on the Date of the In-District Area Variance Form completetion with-in the Open Enrollment Period.
Kindergarten Registration will start on Monday, March 12, 2012
Forms are available online starting March 5th and in the office March 7th.

Families New to Lighthouse (NOT returning students)
* In-District Family + New Student + Jefferson is Home/Neighborhood School (Example: your child is already a student at Jefferson Elementary School or would be attending Jefferson under regular circumstances):

+Jefferson Enrollment form
+ Complete Everett School District Volunteer paperwork online: https://jobs2.everett.k12.wa.us/winocular/volunteer/
* In-District Family + New Student + Jefferson is NOT Home/Neighborhood School (Example: your child would attend any other elementary school (James Monroe, Lowell, Penny Creek, etc) within the Everett Public schools under regular circumstances):

+Home School Enrollment
+In-District “Area Variance Form”
+Complete Everett School District Volunteer paperwork online: https://jobs2.everett.k12.wa.us/winocular/volunteer/
* Out-of-District Residency + New Student (Example: your family does not live within the Everett Public Schools boundaries and would attend an elementary school in a different district (Edmonds, Mukilteo, Northshore, etc) under regular circumstances):

+ Out-of-District Variance “Non Resident Release Form” from your home district’s Administration office
+ Everett School District Enrollment Form

Additional information for KINDERGARTEN Registration:
The day you register your child, you can bring the completed registration forms as well as the following required items:
* Child's birth certificate or passport documentation. Birth certificates for children born in Washington State may be obtained at the Snohomish County Health District Vital Statistics office. Call (425) 339-5280 or on the Web at http://www.snohd.org. Out of state birth certificates may be ordered from http://www.vitalchek.com
* Proof of residence. A utility or phone bill, rental agreement, etc.
* Certificate of Immunization and Child's Health History. Contact your child's physician or the Snohomish County Health District at 425-339-5220 regarding information about vaccinations and updates. A parent's guide to immunizations is also available through the Snohomish County Health District's website: http://www.doh.wa.gov/cfh/immunize/documents/vacreqschool11.pdf
